of mix and match vintage soft furnishings, and graphic lighting features, as well as the constantly evolving
exhibitions that
adorn the walls.

Saiko Maeda

Saiko Maeda who is Japanese artist, works in Brussels (Belgium) and Kyoto (Japan). She holds a ME and a PhD in Art and Design from the Kyoto Institute of Technology and received MFA in Royal Academy of Fine arts of Brussels. She was fashion designer in Tokyo, research artist in TAMAT (Contemporary center of textiles arts in Tournai) and some prizes winner. Her main interest is visualizing invisible things; the surface of things that we usually overlook in our daily life. She builds up the imaginary bright world by photography, installation, video, weaving, textile sculpture, metalwork and performance from her experience. The aim is to question the existing system and general ideas that we usually believe in.
